Salicylic acid is a beta hydroxy acid (BHA) well known for controlling breakouts due to its ability to decongest skin by unclogging blocked pores, reduce spots and blemishes, and even out skin tone.
Active ingredients:
2% Salicylic acid – Aids with breakouts caused by overproduction of sebum in oily skin.
Vitamin B5 – Acts as a humectant by drawing moisture into the skin. It is knows for its wound healing abilities and can help with scarring. This assists in combating the irritating properties of salicylic acid.
These 2 powerful ingredient combined work hand in hand to provide an effective and less irritating effect on the skin.
How to use – Apply to clean dry and unbroken skin. Always follow up with sunscreen. Ideally use every second or third day until well tolerated before daily usage. Patch test before use.
